From problem to solution
Every solution begins with a concrete starting point. What matters is how it becomes an implementation that works reliably in everyday use.
01Challenge
Incoming Shopify orders had to be prepared by staff and entered manually into Collmex. As order volumes grew, the time required was no longer proportionate to the value of the task. Processing depended on available capacity, took correspondingly longer and remained susceptible to input errors despite careful work.
02Implementation
The solution centers on a secure interface that automatically passes new Shopify orders to the integration. Before processing, the required order, product and invoice data is collected in full and validated against defined business rules. The integration then standardizes the different data structures for Collmex and creates the order in a controlled process. This ensures that the same checks and transformations are applied consistently to every transfer. The processing logic is managed centrally, allowing new requirements to be added transparently while keeping the workflow maintainable over time.
Outcome
What improved in everyday work
Orders are now transferred automatically from Shopify, validated consistently and created in Collmex. Duplicate manual data entry has been eliminated, processing is faster and no longer depends on staff being available to re-enter orders. At the same time, the risk of input errors is reduced and the team can focus on more valuable work.
