Project delivery
From problem to solution
Every solution begins with a concrete starting point. What matters is how it becomes an implementation that works reliably in everyday use.
01Challenge
Labels, invoices, delivery notes and individual shipping instructions had to be coordinated manually between the office and warehouse. Special handling requirements, such as marking a shipment as a gift, required additional coordination. Shipping therefore depended heavily on capacity in the office and regularly interrupted work in the warehouse.
02Implementation
The project began with a joint analysis of the on-site workflows and an assessment of how existing shipping services could be integrated effectively. This formed the basis for an agreed delivery plan and a custom shipping controller built in line with applicable safety standards. The ERP, shipping services, dashboard, tablet application and printing systems were connected in one guided workflow. This central connection can be extended as process requirements change, while continuous status monitoring makes the operation transparent even remotely.
Outcome
What improved in everyday work
Shipping is now guided and largely automated directly at the packing station. New shipments and system statuses are immediately visible in the warehouse, the required documents and labels are produced for each order, and individual instructions are handled reliably. This relieves the office team, reduces follow-up queries and creates capacity for growing shipping volumes.
- The shipping workflow guides employees in multiple languages directly at the packing station
- Labels, invoices and delivery notes are produced for each order
- The status light and monitoring make shipments and system statuses visible
- Significantly less coordination is required between the office and warehouse
- The extensible solution is ready for growing shipping volumes
